Careers

Crusher Consumables is built on practical experience and solid customer service, whether out in the yard, helping with technical fitment, or supporting customers in our showrooms. We occasionally grow our team with new staff who can keep up with the pace and detail of the wear parts business. If you know your way around crusher spares, have a good work ethic, and communicate well, we’d like to hear from you.

Roles that keep our parts moving

Our Gauteng yard and dispatch crew is responsible for accurate packing, stock checks, safe loading, and preparing orders for bakkies or hauliers. They handle parts up to 3 tonnes, from jaw plates to VSI tips, and need to follow safety protocols, especially when using forklifts or cranes. Technical fitment advisers support customers and our own team on issues like closed side setting, cheek plate torque, or lockout before changing liners, and often liaise by phone or at customer sites. Showroom staff in Joburg, Durban, Cape Town, and beyond provide a warm welcome, explain wear part choices, and ensure correct stock is on hand, whether it’s polyurethane screen panels for a Lowveld sand plant or a set of toggle plates for a Karoo quarry.

What we look for in new team members

We value people who take pride in accurate work, follow safe lifting and Eskom power cut protocols, and are not afraid to get their hands dirty. Knowledge of crusher wear parts, from work hardening of manganese to screen tensioning, is a strong advantage. We need clear communicators who are willing to help customers with both straightforward and technical questions, and who can work under pressure without cutting corners. Basic computer skills are necessary for showroom and stock work. A forklift or crane ticket is useful for the yard, while fitment advisers must be able to read technical diagrams and defer to OEM manuals for torque specs or campaign planning.

  • Attention to safety and detail
  • Technical understanding of crusher spares
  • Strong communication and teamwork
