Shipping & samples

Crusher Consumables handles shipping of heavy-duty liners and parts with the same care as we put into our wear material advice. Whether you are receiving a full manganese liner set to a Highveld quarry or a box of sample screen buttons for a Lowveld sand plant, we match the delivery method to the weight, urgency and your site’s realities.

Transporting heavy crusher liners

Large jaw plates, mantles, concaves and similar liners leave Sunnyrock or our foundries securely crated and shrink-wrapped, ready for road transport. We organise delivery by flatbed truck or bakkie, depending on the order size and access. Liners in the 180 to 420 kg range are common for cone and jaw sets, with some gyratory mantles exceeding 1 tonne. For these, a truck with crane or a HIAB is arranged for safe offloading. Liners are never double-stacked loose; lifting lugs are checked before loading, and correct lifting gear must be on hand at your end.

  • Crane truck or HIAB used for heavy sets
  • Shrink-wrap and pallets prevent liner shift
  • Driver’s logbook and manifest on every load
  • Lifting points labelled for safe handling

Courier and sample logistics

Small wear part kits, fixing bolts, wear buttons or pilot samples are packed for courier and delivered to your site, workshop or even a local depot for convenience. Our courier partners handle parcels up to 30 kg, with overnight or two-day delivery to main centres like Joburg, Durban and Cape Town, depending on the urgency. Fragile ceramic inserts and screen panels are boxed with foam or corrugated dividers for transit. Tracking details are supplied once dispatched.

Larger but non-crated items, such as polyurethane screen mats, are rolled, wrapped and shipped via regional courier or on the next available truck run.

  • Courier for kits up to 30 kg
  • Heavy items by road freight
  • Extra packaging for ceramic inserts
  • Tracking available on request

Site delivery requirements and lead times

For any delivery, we need a primary contact person on site, mobile number and the correct delivery address. Please confirm site access times, gate protocols and whether you have a forklift, crane or loader for offloading. For remote or high-security sites, advance notice is vital. If you do not have offloading equipment, let our team know so we can arrange the right truck.

Lead times are order-specific and depend on casting, machining and finishing schedules at our foundries, as well as current stock in Sunnyrock. We confirm this with each order and communicate any changes, especially during Eskom outages or adverse weather like the Cape southeaster. For urgent jobs, let us know your shutdown or campaign dates when you use our contact form.

  • Site contact and mobile number needed
  • Access and offloading gear must be confirmed
  • Order-specific lead times given
  • Delays communicated early
