Coastal Hours Update for Pavilion and Tyger Valley
Crusher Consumables announces expanded technical support and bolt supply hours for our Pavilion and Tyger Valley showrooms, tailored to coastal customer needs.
Extended hours for coastal bolt support
From this week, both our Pavilion (Durban) and Tyger Valley (Cape Town) showrooms will be operating with expanded support hours for walk-in customers sourcing fasteners and critical crusher and screen bolts. This adjustment comes after repeated feedback from our coastal clients, who face unique challenges with corrosion, thread galling, and urgent replacement needs in the humid Durban and wind-battered Cape regions.
Our teams in these centres are now set up for quicker reference checks on OEM bolt specs, stock levels, and recommended torque values. We have also reorganised our storerooms to keep key liner bolts, toggle pins, backing compound, and locking hardware within easy reach, supporting everything from jaw plate changes to emergency screen tension repairs.
- Coastal showroom staff trained in marine-grade bolt selection
- Immediate access to anti-seize compounds and ceramic washers
- Quick links to stock on screen tension bolts and toggle hardware
Supporting safe and efficient change-outs
The enhanced support hours at Pavilion and Tyger Valley are designed to help local operations minimise downtime, especially during Eskom power cuts or unexpected liner failures. Our staff can advise on safe lifting, correct bolt torque (defer to OEM manuals), and the use of correct backing compound for high-moisture environments. Every change-out is different, and coastal conditions often accelerate corrosion, so timely advice is essential.
Customers are reminded to reach out through our contact form for pre-orders or to discuss campaign planning for upcoming shut-downs, helping ensure all critical fasteners and spares are available on site when needed.
