See and compare crusher wear parts in person
At the Cresta appointment showroom in Randburg, you can examine real samples from our wear-parts range, including jaw plates, cone mantles, concaves, blow bars, and wire or polyurethane screen media. We offer a hands-on look at various liner profiles and material options, such as austenitic manganese, martensitic steel, and chrome iron with or without ceramic inserts. Our sample parts are there for you to handle, compare profiles, check weight and fitment details, and discuss your site’s requirements.
You can also bring photos or samples of your worn liners, and we will help you match to OEM profiles or suggest alternatives for longer life or improved performance. On site, we keep a library of wear part photos and technical specs, which we can review with you to find the best fit for your plant and application.
- Physical samples of jaw, cone, and impact plates
- Side-by-side profile matching and discussion
- Review of real-world wear photos and case studies
What to bring for your appointment
To make your visit productive, we recommend bringing clear photos of your worn parts. Close-up shots of wear areas help us assess the failure mode and recommend improvements. If you are able, bring the crusher model and serial plate details, which are usually found on the machine frame. These allow us to check chamber profiles, nip angle, closed side setting and part numbers against OEM references.
Basic measurements, such as liner thickness at critical points and bolt hole spacings, are also useful. If you have a sample of a worn part that can safely travel in your bakkie, bring it along so we can compare directly with our display samples.
- Photos of worn liners or screen media
- Crusher model and serial number
- Key measurements or actual worn part
Serving crushers and screens in the randburg area
The Cresta showroom supports quarries, contract crushers, and recycle yards throughout Joburg North, Randburg, and the broader Highveld. Typical rock types in this region include dolomites, quartzites, and some granites, all of which are hard on manganese and chrome iron liners. Plants range from fixed jaw and cone installations to mobile impactors processing demolition rubble or sand blends.
Being inland, plants here face dust, dry winters, and significant Eskom power cuts, so campaign planning and reliable stock holding are vital to minimise downtime. We can discuss strategies for fast liner changes, safe lifting, and wear profiling during your appointment, and help you organise stock or just-in-time deliveries direct from our Germiston yard.
- Hard Highveld rock needs durable liners
- Inland conditions: dust, dry air, and power cuts
- Support for fixed and mobile plant operators
