Fastener Kit Stock

Bolt and nut kits that match liner patterns.

Purpose of fastener kit stock and where it fits

Our fastener kits are matched bolt and nut sets specifically selected for crusher and screen liner attachments. Each kit corresponds directly to the liner hole pattern and thickness, ensuring secure clamping and correct liner seating. These kits are used on jaw plates, cone mantles, concaves, blow bars, cheek plates, toggle plates, bowl liners, and screen media. The correct fastener set ensures reliable liner retention, even under heavy load and vibration common in Highveld quarries, Northern Cape iron ore sites, coastal sand plants, and recycling yards.

Using matched fastener kits is critical. Undersized or overlong bolts risk premature loosening or fail to fully clamp the liner, leading to excessive movement, wear on the crusher frame, and possible safety incidents. The right kit for the right liner means correct torque, proper engagement, and safe lifting and handling during liner changes.

Stock holding and best storage practice

At our Sunnyrock, Germiston yard, we hold fastener kits indoors on purpose-built racking, sorted by crusher type, liner profile, and fastener size. Each kit is clearly labelled with OEM compatibility, length, diameter, thread pitch, and application (for example, 'Metso HP300 Mantle', 'Powerscreen Cheek Plate', 'Terex Cedarapids Jaw'). This ensures quick picking for urgent maintenance, especially during Eskom outages or planned campaign shutdowns.

For customers in coastal regions like Durban, Gqeberha, or Cape Town, store kits in sealed containers or bins, ideally with a desiccant or rust inhibitor, and keep out of direct sea air to prevent corrosion. Inland, on the Highveld or Karoo, kits can be stored in a lockable steel cabinet or plastic bins inside a workshop or shipping container. Never leave fasteners exposed on the ground or in bakkie loads overnight, especially during rainy season.

  • Keep kits dry and free of grit
  • Separate by size and application
  • Rotate older stock to use first
  • Check kit integrity before each liner change

Choosing and ordering the right fastener kits

To supply the correct kit, tell us your crusher or screen make, model, chamber or liner profile, and which wear part you are changing. If possible, confirm the hole pattern, liner thickness, and any OEM or site-specific requirements. For custom or worn housings, measure the bolt hole diameter and depth before ordering.

Our kits cover a broad range: jaw crusher sideplates (M20 to M30 bolts), cone and gyratory mantles (M24 to M36, various lengths), blow bar clamps and wedges, toggle seats, and screen box media. We supply both metric and imperial sizes, with washers and locking nuts where required. For high-impact zones, let us know if you need high-tensile or anti-vibration fasteners.

To order, contact our parts team through our contact form. Our team will cross-reference your details with OEM liner drawings, match the kit, and advise on stock availability or lead times.

  • State machine make and model
  • Specify part and liner profile
  • Give hole size and pattern if non-standard
  • Request high-tensile or anti-vibration if needed
