Recycle Alloy Stock

Harder alloys for demolition recycle yards.

Tough recycle alloys for demolition and rubble applications

Our Recycle Alloy Stock is built for the hard life in demolition, recycling, and rubble processing yards where standard manganese can wear away too quickly. These alloys, often modified high-chrome or martensitic grades with optional ceramic inserts, take repeated impact from rebar, bricks, concrete and even tramp metal. The harder matrix stands up to gouging and edge chipping, while the right balance of toughness prevents premature cracking. Suited for high-impact secondary and tertiary crushers, especially horizontal shaft impactors (HSI), as well as selected jaw and cone crusher positions where feed is abrasive and unpredictable.

  • Used in demolition recycling, rubble, and construction waste streams
  • Withstands sharp, high-energy impacts and embedded metal
  • Compatible with HSI blow bars, jaw plates, and some VSI tips

Stock handling at Sunnyrock and best practice on site

At our Sunnyrock yard in Germiston, we store Recycle Alloy parts indoors on heavy-duty racking, away from moisture and dust. Each batch is separated by profile and alloy for easy picking when Eskom outages hit and time is tight. Parts are tagged with melt number and profile to match your crusher's closed side setting and chamber geometry.

On site, we recommend keeping alloy spares under cover. Along the coast, salt air will accelerate surface corrosion, so store these parts in a dry shipping container or covered lean-to, raised above ground on pallets. Inland, keep away from rain and direct sun to reduce oxidation and temperature cycling. Always check lifting lugs and store with safe access for bakkie or forklift loading.

How to select and order the right recycle alloy parts

When choosing a Recycle Alloy part, let us know your crusher make and model, the part number or a good photo, and details of your feed, especially if you are processing reinforced concrete or asphalt. Tell us your target closed side setting, tonne throughput, and if you have had issues with cracking or breakage before. For HSI blow bars, we need the rotor width, thickness, and desired balance between wear life and impact resistance.

Order by emailing Contact form. Specify if you need OEM profile or a change in alloy mix. We can advise on campaign planning, stock holding for shutdowns, and matching liner sets for optimal performance.

  • Crusher make, model, and part number or photos
  • Feed material details (eg, rebar, concrete, brick)
  • Closed side setting and target output
  • Any history of part failure or breakage
