Understanding cheek plate specs and fit
Cheek plates are handed parts, always supplied as left and right, and must be matched to your exact crusher model and side frame. The standard material is Mn13 austenitic manganese, which work-hardens with impact to resist gouging and abrasion. Fastener locations follow the OEM pattern, so exact fit is critical for sealing and holding the plate in place under impact loading.
- Side (LH or RH) must match your machine
- Grade (Mn13 standard, others on request)
- OEM fastener pattern only
How to confirm your cheek plate fitment
Before ordering, remove your worn cheek plate and check its dimensions against the OEM drawings or your previous order. Measure length, width, thickness at several points, and look for any stepped profiles or wear lips. If the old plate is badly worn, measure the side frame bolt layout as well. Take clear photos of the worn plate, the seating face, and the serial plate of the crusher. Email these to our technical team for confirmation. We will match the casting profile and double-check all dimensions before supply.
Information to send when ordering
Send us the full crusher model and serial number, the side (LH or RH) required, your measured dimensions, and photos of your existing plates. This allows us to confirm the correct pattern, material, and delivery timeframe for your plant. If you have unusual feed material, let us know so we can advise on alternative alloys or surface treatments.
