How to understand the mantle spec sheet
Each mantle liner spec details the grade, profile, circuit, mass range, and matching concave. Mn18 is standard, offering a good balance of toughness and work hardening for most South African stone. The profile, listed as 'standard' or 'heavy', affects both the feed opening and wear life, heavier profiles suit coarser feed and longer campaigns. Circuit tells you if the mantle is shaped for secondary (finer) or tertiary (coarser or more open) duty. Mass band lets you anticipate lifting and handling; always check your lifting tackle rating before collection. Measuring and confirming your mantle before ordering
Before placing your order, check the model and serial plate on the crusher. Send us clear photos of the worn mantle in place and out, plus the mating concave. For best results, measure the largest diameter (top), the height from base to nose, and the seating lip diameter. Take thickness readings from the high-wear zone and around the nose. If you have the old profile drawing or OEM part number, send that as well. This avoids errors and ensures the new mantle fits and wears as expected.
